Mastermind Grand Final to air on SBS September 27

After a blockbuster first season, the highly-anticipated Mastermind Grand Final is set to premiere on SBS at 7.30pm on Friday, 27 September in a special one hour episode.
Specialist subjects during grand-final week will include everything from the life and times of Al Capone to the Origins of the first World War 1901-1914 – and a whole host of topics in between.
Mastermind quizmaster Jennifer Byrne said:
“After a mighty first year, this is Finals Week in the only game that really counts. Australia’s Mastermind! By the time it’s done I’ll have been through 8000 questions., learned about hundreds of wonderful and often astonishing specialist subjects, not to mention met some of the country’s smartest people.
“It’s been enormous fun and we’ve saved the best to last - so join me each evening this week to see which of our bold (and just slightly quirky) contenders will seize the title of national Mastermind champion. A prize without price – but trailing glory. And life-long boasting rights.”
Find out who will be the national Mastermind champion when the Mastermind Grand Final week premieres 6pm Monday 23 September on SBS. Episodes air 6pm weeknights, with the exception of the Grand Final, which will air at 7.30pm on Friday, 27 September.
