Summer TV Ratings December 15, 2021: ABC dominates primetime with Hard Quiz and Gruen

Total TV Ratings, December 8

ABC produced the top two entertainment programs in the total TV ratings thanks to its one-two punch of Hard Quiz (846,000) and Gruen (836,000). Both shows were up by over 13% on their overnight ratings.

On Seven, The Ashes first day of action had a segment high of 731,000 which came in the tea session.

The top entertainment program on Nine was a repeat of Mega Zoo with 662,000 viewers.

Overnight TV Ratings, December 15

Nine was the top primary channel (20.5%) and network (30.6%) last night following a combination of A Current Affair (623,000), and Mega Zoo (354,000).

On Seven, Ambulance: Cod Red had 245,000 viewers, before the big-budget film Spider-man: Far From Home brought in 174,000.

On 10, The Project had 194,000 (6:30pm) and 268,000 (7:00pm) before two repeats of All Aussie Adventures brought in 199,000 and 170,000 viewers.

The ABC had a strong performance last night with a primary channel share of 14.7%. This was thanks to its combination of Hard Quiz (537,000) and Gruen (526,000) which were the top two entertainment programs of the night. This was the last episode of Gruen for the year and saw the unavailable Todd Sampson replaced by Dee Madigan.
