News Corp Australia’s Sunday newspapers will crown the best restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in November as part of a month-long campaign delicious.100.

Australia’s leading restaurant booking website, OpenTable, is sponsoring the multiplatform initiative that will see the mastheads’ food reviewers name the top 100 restaurants in both Sydney and Melbourne, and the top 10 restaurants in Brisbane, according to a set of strict criteria that takes into account how real Australians are dining out.

delicious.100 will be supported by a $2 million marketing campaign, and extensive editorial coverage, across the Sunday Herald Sun, The Sunday Telegraph and The Sunday Mail, delicious. and all of the brands’ digital platforms.

The top restaurants that form part of the delicious.100 will be revealed in a 20-page liftout in The Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun, and a spread in The Sunday Mail in late November.

delicious. editor-in-chief Kerrie McCallum said that as a result of major investment in the brand, including the launch of delicious.com.au and delicious. on Sunday in Stellar, delicious. is now established as one of Australia’s most influential and powerful lifestyle brands with an audience of just over three million per month.

“The delicious.100 will be the most relevant and usable dining guide for Australia and I couldn’t be more delighted that the restaurants featured in this guide will reflect how Australians eat out today. The insert itself has the potential to reach 2.9 million people a week via our eastern seaboard Sunday papers, more than any other restaurant guide in the country,” she said.
