Seven has won the night with a primary share of 18.7% and a network share of 30.0%. 7Two has won multichannels with a 4.7% share.

Seven’s Home and Away brought primetime drama for 463,000, before another round of the Big Bash League saw the Melbourne Stars go up against the Brisbane Heat at the MCG. 267,000 cheered on as the Heat won by three wickets.

The Australian Open has officially kicked off on Nine. USA’s Coco Gauff took on Czechia’s Katerina Siniakova in the opening match of the broadcast, with 158,000 tuning in. In primetime, Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas won out over France’s Quentin Halys at Margaret Court Arena 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (6) in front of 357,000 viewers.

7.30 brought 447,000 to the ABC as the show interviewed Attorney General Mark Dreyfus and asked what the future of one of the world's biggest solar energy projects looks like. Back Roads took 377,000 to Marrawah, Tasmania, before Under Cover looked at the homelessness crisis amongst older women for 286,000. 

The Project (181,000 6:30pm / 283,000 7pm) looked at why a US school district has banned high-power AI ChatGPT, and interviewed Margot Robbie and Diego Calva from the Babylon Sydney premiere. There was more drama on The Bachelors, with 312,000 watching as CJ, Marjorie, and Tash all decided to voluntarily throw in the towel on their search for love. 

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Heritage Rescue with 81,000 tuning in.
