Val Morgan Outdoor (VMO) has announced a major win securing the exclusive tender for the new Queen Street Village development on the former Gold Coast Hospital site at Southport, Queensland.

Queen Street Village is on track to evolve into a vibrant, mixed-use lifestyle development, comprising of retail, entertainment and dining districts, a Dendy cinema, a supermarket, commercial office spaces, childcare, and health facilities, as well as contemporary style residential, retirement, hotel and purpose-built student accommodation.

The project is set to completely rejuvenate the heart of Southport and plays a significant role in encouraging other revitalisation projects to launch around the area.

Set to open in 2022, the new Queen Street Village development will house VMO’s next generation, 100% digital, high quality floor mounted screens, situated in key areas. All screen locations have been selected as part of VMO’s strict quality criteria to ensure all screens are front facing, and within proximity to key retailers and high foot traffic throughfares.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be working and building a strong relationship with the teams behind the Queen Street Village development, and to get this milestone partnership across the line. This new exclusive tender further builds VMO’s extensive retail footprint, delivering brands the opportunity to connect with even more Australians. Our next generation highest quality screens blend seamlessly into the upscale and lively social hub that Queen Street Village will evolve into”, said chief commercial officer the Hoyts Group and VMO, Anthony Deeble.

This tender win forms part of VMO’s growth strategy to provide advertisers with an even greater opportunity to reach more Australians across key consumer destinations.

Paul Butler, managing director of VMO adds “VMO is well ahead of the game offering advertisers the most innovative and unmatched solution in digital advertising, and with progress on our expansion strategy well underway, our next gen network is just going from strength to strength.”
