Carla Hizon Head of Account Management The Hallway

The Hallway has announced the appointment of Carla Hizon to the role of head of account management.

In this newly created position, she will be responsible for leading the independent agency’s account management teams across Sydney and Melbourne.

Hizon joins The Hallway with 15 years of industry experience. She has also held senior roles at leading agencies both locally and internationally.

Most recently, she was at the global digital agency Jellyfish in New York as client partner for Google. Prior to that she was at another prominent digital agency, iCrossing New York.

Before heading overseas, Hizon was at DDB Sydney for a number of years. An exceptional talent with award-winning work to her name, she has worked on some of the world’s biggest brands, including Google, Adidas, VW, Under Armour, Bayer, Telstra, and Audi.

Jules Hall, CEO The Hallway, said of Hizon's appointment: “We’re delighted to have Carla join our team. She brings fantastic global experience from her time in New York, building on her many years in Australian agencies. She’s super smart, knows the business of advertising and is a perfect cultural fit with the rest of our team."

Hizon said of her new role: “I am thrilled to join The Hallway. We have such a bright and talented team who are passionate about building what's next for the agency and our clients. I’m looking forward to all that we'll create.”

Hizon’s appointment comes during a successful year for the independent agency. The Hallway’s work has been recognised at all the major national and international award shows.

The agency has broken new business records, delivered major brand platforms for the likes of Suncorp Bank, and created category-defining work with their men's mental health initiative, Boys Do Cry, re-recording The Cure’s iconic hit to encourage blokes not to man up.
