RE VISION

ThinkTV has revealed the talent line-up for its RE VISION event on May 4.

Taking to the stage is Australian Idol winner Royston Noell and singer D’Arcy Spiller, alongside Macquarie University Business School professor Jana Bowden.

The winner of Australian Idol 2023 and one of the featured artists from Menulog’s 'Did Somebody Say' campaign will perform at ThinkTV’s RE VISION event.

Noell, a singer-songwriter and a proud Thanakwithi and Badu Island man, will open the event before discussing the art of making connections with audiences and the importance of diverse representation on screen.

Spiller, Melbourne singer-songwriter and featured artist of Menulog’s ‘Did Somebody Say’ campaign, is also set to perform at the event.

RE-VISION

Spiller will be joined by Menulog marketing director Simon Cheng. The pair will unpack how the local version of the campaign was developed and the role local artists can play alongside brands looking to engage Australian audiences.

The ThinkTV RE VISION conference will be held at Carriageworks on Thursday 4 May. The event seeks to create a pathway to a more positive and successful industry by bringing together the top minds in marketing, media, programming and effectiveness.

Hosted by Nine’s Brooke Boney, RE VISION will feature a presentation on driving effective campaigns from Macquarie University Business School professor Jana Bowden as well as a panel on the rise of content consumed via streaming platforms.

ThinkTV CEO Kim Portrate said: "TV has the power to reflect Australia’s evolving values and help to create a more diverse, inclusive, and creative society.

"This ability to spread and amplify changing cultural norms creates an opportunity for brands to connect with consumers who are embracing these shifts in attitude.

"RE VISION celebrates and shares pathways for marketers looking to engage with these audiences through local talent, local stories and local values."

The conference is designed for people who work in media or marketing, are passionate about positive change, making an impact and supercharging brand and business growth. More presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
