Patrick Nakkan joins Foxtel as head of partnerships, commercial

Foxtel has appointed Patrick Nakkan as head of partnerships, commercial, marking a senior addition to its commercial leadership team as the company continues to evolve its sport and entertainment strategy.

Nakkan joins the Australian media business at a time of renewed focus on premium content, strategic partnerships and long-term growth across Foxtel’s broadcast and streaming ecosystem.

In a statement shared on a LinkedIn post, Nakkan said he was “thrilled” to be starting a new chapter with the company, describing Foxtel as an “iconic Australian business” entering a period of ambition and opportunity.

“I’m incredibly excited to join an iconic Australian business at a time of ambition, evolution and opportunity,” he said.

“Foxtel’s commitment to premium content, strong partnerships and innovation across sport and entertainment is something I’ve long admired, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Focus on partnerships and commercial growth

In his new role, Nakkan will be responsible for building and strengthening Foxtel’s commercial partnerships, working across sport, entertainment and brand collaborations as the company continues to invest in premium rights and audience engagement.

Nakkan said he was looking forward to working with Foxtel’s team and contributing to the company’s next phase.
