Snap Inc. has appointed Clare Rudduck as Head of Agency ANZ, to strengthen its relationships with agencies and sharpen Snapchat’s positioning as a platform for Gen Z engagement.

Rudduck joins from LinkedIn, where she was Head of Enterprise Solutions Group, leading agency and client partnerships and delivering strategic B2B and B2C solutions.

Reporting to Ryan Ferguson, Managing Director, Snapchat ANZ, Rudduck will focus on deepening agency relationships, understanding evolving client priorities and identifying opportunities for campaigns that fully leverage Snap’s technology and audience reach.

Ferguson said Rudduck, who also worked as NSW Sales Director at Yahoo7/Verizon Media, joins the business at a key time.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Clare to the team at such an exciting time for Snap," he said.

"Her extensive industry experience and passion for helping agencies deliver creative and effective campaigns will be invaluable as we continue to build momentum and help brands unlock the full potential of our platform, from Sponsored Snaps to our wider product suite.”

From enterprise solutions to Gen Z culture

Rudduck said she was keen to work with agencies and brands to find new opportunities on the platform.

“What excites me most is helping agencies and brands show up on Snapchat in ways that really connect them authentically with Gen Z," she said.

"The biggest audience opportunity for marketers right now is reaching and speaking to this audience in a very real way, and this platform is where those everyday, in-the-moment conversations are already happening.

"I look forward to helping our agency partners tap into that energy and create campaigns that drive meaningful business results.”

Strategic timing as Snapchat grows in ANZ

Snapchat now reaches more than 8 million Australians each month and over 1.5 million monthly users in New Zealand. Its core demographic remains a key selling point with the app reaching nearly 90% of 13–24-year-olds and 75% of 13–34-year-olds in Australia, with users opening the app around 40 times per day on average.
