Narelda Jacobs to host new national midday news bulletin, 10 News First: Midday

10 News First news presenter Narelda Jacobs will host a new one-hour national news bulletin, 10 News First: Midday, commencing on Monday, January 9.

Airing 12pm weekdays, 10 News First: Midday will provide an update on the latest breaking news stories from around the country and the world at the mid-way point in the day.

Jacobs has been at the forefront of the news for more than 20 years. Starting her journalism career at 10 News First in Perth, Jacobs moved to Sydney in 2020 to join Studio 10 and present News from Sydney.

As part of the news team leading 10’s coverage of the pandemic, floods and Black Lives Matter movement, Jacobs has emerged as one of the country’s most respected presenters.

Jacobs said: "Talk about hitting the ground running in 2023. I’m thrilled to be able to share the world’s big moments on Studio 10, then deliver the day’s biggest headlines on 10 News First: Midday.

“When viewers stop to catch a breath at midday, I’ll be there with an exciting new national bulletin alongside some of the country’s best reporters.”

The new bulletin joins a new morning lineup on 10, commencing from January 9:

8.00am – 8:30am Everyday Gourmet With Justine Schofield
8:30am - 9.00am Entertainment Tonight (Encore)
9.00am - 9:30am Judge Judy
9:30am - 10.00am The Bold and the Beautiful (Encore)
10.00am - 12.00pm Studio 10
12.00pm - 1.00pm 10 News First: Midday

Studio 10 returns in 2023 with a brand-new season of chat, showbiz, and entertainment, with the hosting ensemble of Tristan MacManus, Angela Bishop, Narelda Jacobs and , Daniel Doody.
