The Bachelor Australia is set to air on Wednesday, 21 July at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play, as 31-year-old pilot Jimmy Nicholson goes on a quest for love.

10 described Nicholson as a self-confessed romantic, who is an intelligent and passionate go-getter who is ready to find his happily ever after.
On being the next Bachelor, Nicholson said: “I am a big believer in embracing any opportunity that presents itself, especially if it has the potential to change your life for the better.
“The journey ahead will be one of the most challenging experiences that I have ever undertaken, however, I am very excited to meet someone that I could potentially spend the rest of my life with.”

Representing Victoria are speech pathologist, Ashleigh; occupational therapist, Brooke; corporate lawyer, Carlie; executive recruiter, Jacinta; crane operator, Lily; marketing coordinator, Madison; technical analyst, Sierah and corporate travel manager, Tahnee.
From the Sunshine State, Queensland are dance teacher, Ash; criminal lawyer, Belinda; hair stylist, Stevie and company director, Tatum.
Speech pathologist, Laura and office administrator, Lauren are proud South Australians, while business development manager Stephanie is flying the flag for Western Australia.

Past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette Australia franchises have resulted in love matches for Tim and Anna, Sam and Snezana, Georgia and Lee, Matty J and Laura.
Last year, in the finale of The Bachelor Australia 879,000 watched as Locky Gilbert pledged his love to nurse, Irena Srbinovska.
