Atomic 212° hosts Uluru conference on creativity and leadership

Atomic 212° brought more than 120 staff, clients and partners to Uluru for a three-day conference exploring insights, creativity, and storytelling.

Independent media agency Atomic 212° has wrapped a major conference in Uluru, where more than 120 staff, clients and partners gathered for three days of presentations, performances and workshops focused on creativity, leadership and storytelling.

Titled All Around: Connect With The Unexpected, the program featured journalist and author Antoinette Lattouf speaking on leadership, Paralympian Jessica Gallagher on accessibility in media, and Tourism NT chief marketing officer Monika Tonkin on positioning the Northern Territory as a must-visit destination.

Other sessions included Programmed’s regional director and head of marketing APAC Amelia Collins and Flinders University CMO Bev Bury on authentic leadership, and artist Vincent Fantuzzo on creativity. Musician Paul Ah Chee and DJ Rona Glynn-McDonald also performed across the three-day event.

As part of the conference, street artist and creative director JESWRI collaborated with students from the National Indigenous Training Academy on a mural project for their residential accommodation. The Academy is administered by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, operator of Ayers Rock Resort.

The line-up also featured Maurice Riley, chief data officer at Publicis ANZ, alongside Atomic 212° leaders including chairman Barry O’Brien, chief executive officer Rory Heffernan, chief digital officer James Dixon, chief strategy officer Asier Carazo, Melbourne general manager Sylvia Pickering, Sydney general manager Ashleigh Carter, general manager data and analytics Tom Sheppard and senior planning and trading executive Angus McLeod.
